Simon Teihotu’s brother Christian murdered Dag Drollet, his sister Cheyenne Brando’s boyfriend, in May 1990 when Cheyenne was 8 months pregnant. She accused Drollet of physical abuse. Cheyenne committed suicide five years later, at the age of 25. Christian died of pneumonia in 2008 after serving five years in jail for manslaughter.
